nah, the celebration indeed just for one day, but the massacre (supposed) to last for 2-3 days
remember Muslim is forbidden to fasting 3 days after Idul Qurban, it's called al-Tashreeq days

I would like to have a list of all festivals there is for whatever reason they are being held,
from all on earth existing religions, cultures, suburban regions and so on.
AND all of those should grants ya to have a day off from work or at least forces the bosses to pay more loan.
Also enjoy this festival to the fullest extense!
