Explore Outside - Go outside and find a bug you've never seen before.
Do Feed The Animals - Find some ants outside and feed them some sugar and water.
Spider Secrets - Find a Spider in your house or outside. Use a stick to test which threads are sticky and which are not.
Fear Of The unknown - Research what insects and spiders are dangerous in your part of the world.
Close Encounter - Do "Fear Of The Unknown" first, then find an insect or spider that isn't dangerous and let it crawl around on your hand.
Running Legs - Find an animal. What's the fewest number of legs on the ground when it runs?

They don't, the game itself brings an option to activate them when you want, you just have to be honest.
