So, more than a month ago, I got a gym membership, and I also got a professional trainer, After a few weeks of continues working out (4-5 days a week) and eating somewhat healthy, I was really proud of myself, although I still don't know how to properly eat healthy and how to properly spend my time at the gym for maximum productivity. I don't have a diet plan and a work out plan, the trainer helped a little, but not too much, so I stopped my trainer. (also because its too damn expensive). It was going well.. until i started missing gym for a day, then two, three days... then 1 week and 2 weeks.. and now its been a month without going to the gym or working out at all.

I know I've lost all my progress and I''m very disappointed at myself.

If you workout, I need your advice...

How do I stop my self.. from.. stopping?

How do I eat more healthy? Any Diet Plan?

Where can I learn about making my own work out plan?

If you can share any tip for someone just working out, please post it here.

I wish we could lend out our bodies to people who enjoy exercise or who we could pay to exercise and then get it back when they are done with it.

I work out in front of the TV with YouTube workout videos. I'm also a fan of the Scarsdale diet, although I don't follow it to a T. I just picked up some cool meal ideas from it. It's guaranteed to give results if you're able to stick to it.

Toasted proten bread + half a grapefruit + tea/coffee makes for a great, energizing breakfast.
Meat + a bunch of veggies is great for any meal. For some reason, it never occurs to me to eat that many veggies outside of dieting.
Fruit salad with cheese and some nuts is also one of my favorite meals. Fruits and fresh cheese go so well together!

First of all, don't use a trainer

Secondly, ditch the gym membership

Thirdly get a doorframe pull up bar and some dumbbells on the cheap

Fourthly to get your diet on diet make small changes only, I prefer to start with the elimination of liquids ONLY water. Remember it is in the word that tells it all.
You go on a diet which implies that at one point you will get off a diet.

Fifthly, open youtube, and commit daily 30 minutes for 5 days a week. If you cant do that, then admit to yourself that it is never going to happen, accept it and move on with your life.

Bonus, Upperbody workout > next day Legs > next day Cardio > Upperbody again and last day Legs. Then rest 2 days.

And dude, workout, don't care about a workout plan.
70% of something is better than a 100% of nothing.

Buy an Oculus Quest. Seriously I am the most lazy person on this planet but this thing gets me active and sweaty. I have moved more in the last few weeks than in the last 10 years combined. And I am not doing it because I should because it's healthy, no I want to play these active games because they are so much fun. That's a miracle and an absolute amazing thing.
