Humble gift links for Uplay - already own gift

I got a gift link and opened it, without looking to closely for what game it was.
It was for Assassin's Creed Origin, which I already own (it was still on my Steam whishlist, that's way I got it).
With steam games you still get the key, so I wasn't worried, but apparently this is different with uplay.
It want's me to now connect to my uplay account.
As the gift link is now used up, is there any way to gift the game to someone else now?

Contact Humble Support. They have on a few occasions fixed up this kind of problem for me with Steam, not UPlay/Origin/etc, but they should be able to help all the same.

Your thread title reads Origin, when you're actually asking about Uplay. Just sayin...

Edit: Screw me, it's the game's title. So confusing!

No, it's OP's fault and makes no sense. He should change it to "AC Origins".
