Public Giveaway Display Mode

Whenever I click on "Home" it takes me back to the Homepage and changes the display mode to "Open", even if I set it to "All" before.

Is there any chance the site could remember my settings?

Open are the open giveaways, closed are the ones that are done and coming soon are the ones that are coming soon. I think this makes the most sense.

I think the request is not to change the wording, but to add a cookie or the like to remember where one left if after they leave the page, so that it will be the same choice upon return.
