Dragon Quest XI coming to Steam!

Added to wishlist in hopes it'll be good, but...it's SquareEnix, so chances are the port and post release support will be terrible. Cautiously optimistic is the best I can muster for their PC ports these days thanks to their quality control being some of the most consistently terrible of any major publisher on Steam.

That's great. I've never played a DQ game but I have a friend who loves them, especially VIII.
If we are lucky we could get the other ones as well. And if we aren't as lucky we could get the other ones as well with terrible ports by Square Enix. But hey, I'm optimistic!

I loved Dragon Warrior (what it was known in the US back at the time) when I was growing up. I played 1-4, and then did not really keep up as the name "changed" and I never really owned a Playstation system until recently (and even now, just a Vita).

But I still very much love Dragon Warrior / Quest, and am super-pumped for a PC release. This gives me tons of extra motivation (not that I didn't already have a good bit) to get my new PC built well ahead of time so that I'll be absolutely ready for this.

Honestly never heard of the series before. It looks ok.

This is great. Love the series and I am glad that japanese developers/publishers are willing to give this a try We miss out on enough great games already. (Persona,Yakuza)

I love so much playing Dragon Quest on my Nintendo DS. I have dreamt about playing a dragon quest game on PC.
I will buy it for sure. But I will wait 1 month at least to not encounter launched bugs.
