Since yesterday both apps not working anymore. ASF Archibot is not sending auto trade offers to master trade offers line up 5x and get blocked. Steam Desktop Authenticator stopped generating confirmations window. Any fixes or options?

The Windows Phone Steam app (I know...) stopped getting confirmations yesterday too, so something must be on Valve's end. It just gives a connection error message. Hopefully it's just temporary and they get their services back up.

Windows Phone

I thought I was the only one! There's more than one of us 😂

PS: steam changed some backend endpoints used in authentication and trade confirmation (/mobileconf/conf to /mobileconf/getlist), this obviously broke the old phone app along with many other third-party apps (winauth, sda, etc.)

ASF seems to have recently fixed it. I believe there are forks of the other apps that are working on fixes...

In fact, as a result I had to remove steam guard and add it again on a new device, which resulted in a penalty of 15 days hold on any trades (Yes I know, had I done it the "correct" way to transfer it would have been only a 2 day period).

There is a fix made by someone else on Github it replaces view conformations with confirm all so important you check all items listed price while listng and trade offers before clicking.

You can import the 2FA from WithAuth to ASF and you won't get the 2 weeks cooldown/tradeban. Process described here: https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm/wiki/Two-factor-authentication#winauth

You probably need to go through this first then. https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm/wiki/Setting-up It's not the easiest program to set up, I know I've spent hours to do it, good luck!

It's not too bad then, you are already familiar with setting up ASF, not much difference between old and new ASF.

WinAuth project has been abandoned since 2019

It has been working fine until now, sadly this recent change broke the steam trading integration.

If you look at the network graph on github, you can see a couple "forks" made to address this:

That is very sad I didn't know it because like you say Winauth work good before but new Steam update breaks it. Now can't confirm so can't do anything on items or cards.

yeah, very sad. We will need a long time to get update from dev SDA.
Right now i use archi for confirmations.
Just need to be a bit more careful before executing commands and always double check to avoid api scams.

If I was using Winauth and want to switch to SDA do I need to delete the user account in Winauth first before using SDA?

No. They do not interact with each other.

It looks like you can only have one authenticator active at a time. Which means I'll need to deactivate it on Winauth first. That's what I meant when I said user account.

And I have one but same in SDA and WinAuth.
I haven't used SDA for a long time because I use WinAuth. But since it is currently not possible to perform confirmations in WinAuth, I started SDA, updated to the latest version and confirmations work in SDA.
But: if you used WinAuth but didn't use SDA then you need to transfer your token from WinAuth to SDA. However, if, like me, you used SDA and never removed it, then the token works simultaneously in SDA and WinAuth.

I haven't found a way to transfer the token. There was some obscure app on github that claimed to move your settings from Winauth to SDA but it seems risky. I think I can move the authenticator from WinAuth to Steam app then move to SDA and there's only like a 2 day wait each move, I think. I'll figure something out. Thx.

WinAuth has an option to export authenticator and then this file should be able to be "loaded" into SDA.

If you check the link in the post; it´s about transferring authentification between apps, both WinAuth, and SDA.
Maybe reverse engineering is possible? I´m no expert, just curious..
good luck!

in WinAuth, right-click your steam account entry, select "Show SteamGuard and Recover Code", tick "Allow copy", then copy the json text into an .maFile which you can then import into SDA

PS: you'll also need to manually add a field to the json text, called "device_id", the value is shown in the same winauth dialog under "Device ID"

this will allow you to use both programs at the same time, no need to delete steam guard or deauthorize any of them.

you can even import this maFile into as ASF, consult their wiki for the process

(I google translated your comment)

The ASF-UI is a website running on localhost you open in your browser, by default the address is http://127.0.0.1:1242/

https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm/wiki/IPC#asf-ui

There is no separate download, it's already included with ASF

As ormax3 mentioned previously, there are forks, so this too is a possibility.
I haven't tried any of the WinAuth forks, but these might work:

First one has binaries, the other two you need to compile before you can try them.
