If it's "in plain sight" then I must be blind. I've long ago resigned myself to the fact that I can only seem to figure out about 1 in 10 "puzzles" people post here, and that's on a good day.

don't worry, what was a problem for modern medicine like blindness is a thing of a past 'cause we, in fact, live in a future now and future madicine has a cure for that! I'm sure that if you follow the prescription you can boost your results to at least 3 in 10! ;)

Don't worry too much about it.
I have solved about 80% of the puzzles I have seen on SG for the past 3 years and I have literally not won a single game out of the hundreds of GAs I have entered out of the puzzle solving.
So if you are enjoying the solving, go for it. If you're doing it to enter GAs, don't hurt yourself.

that's hardly a puzzle. really like the most basic stuff in SG puzzling. you might wanna consult zelgh magic guide to basic sg puzzling thank you Zelgh! that's a great help with all sorts of puzzles and I'm sure the solution is there ;)
other than that I might be dropping clues before it's gone, but given the low low difficulty it's unlikely. however I'll be more than happy to explain how to get the ticket and how I did that once the train is over. That is unless you'll figure it out yourself before that ;)

I have no idea what length you're talking about. the train link is hidden in a zero width space essentially an invisible character and you can find it by using "inspect element" function in your browser (should be under right-click). Youtube link was just that - a song I enjoy.
And yes, ITH seems to be down for a while now...

Big "whopsi" on my part (seems I was the black magician the whole time, since I used necromancy albeit unwillingly ^^;).
I focused on the "#Qru36sF" code behind some link posts of you. I thought there was some ITH/jiggy or other shaninnigans behind it... and now I realize that its just a permalink to a post inside the thread.
So I embaressed myself not only by resurfacing an old thread, but also by asking a super dumb question. Its gonna be one of those weeks I guess.

Well, looks like my rl factory leveled up again putting me one notch closer to finishing the game of life in a coffin and I forgot to start a choo choo in advance to celebrate this achievement. So I'm starting one now. â The tickets are hiding in a plain sight but the conductor might ask you for a proof of beeing level 2 or higher before boarding. The ride takes about a week. If anything was messed up please excuse your ride provider and accept all the consequences. thank you for using Choice brand traincars!
