As the owner of a copy of gta v, I can only say if that is true, it sounds like releasing a horde of trolls. There're already tons of idiots (in a generous calculation, one for every four players), this just can multiply them to the infinite.
It different to the operatio of CA and Sega with Shogun II, that put a big bag of blood in the dead multiplayer of the game

It's been removed but I can confirm that it did say that GTA V will be available on the EGS till the 21st.
This was a BIG slip up as it was tweeted way too early. Now the question is will it actually launch on the EGS. These types of slip ups can cause a studio/publisher to change their mind, although I think it's a slim possibility it will actually do that.

GTA V is the 4th most popular game on Steam with a peak of 190k players in the last 30 days on Steam according to Steam Charts for GTA V and about 80k people playing this moment. Adding GTA V to the EGS for free will definitely bring in the masses to Epic's store.
