I believe level 7 is jinxed. When I hit level 7, I made a thread (and I usually don't) and my level dropped to 6 within 5 minutes.
So I won't congratulate you this time. Nothing to see here, move along. :X

I've had this happen...it's usually because you gift something right when a bundle comes out, you get full CV for it, and then SG (appropriately) changes the value of GAs for those games to the bundle value, backdated to whenever that bundle went live. So, you get your 15% of value as opposed to 100% of value like you would for an unbundled game. Sometimes, it takes a while for this to get corrected, so you get fooled into thinking you're moving toward the next level faster than you are.
BTW...haven't had any issues with the shite bundle you were describing earlier. I took advantage of it like everyone else. Hey, that was a lot of CV value for a buck. I did try to sprinkle those GAs around with a lot of better stuff, or use them as filler in levels 0-1 in multi-level trains...or as part of the items in a trash train. 😁🙃
And, despite it being considered a garbage bundle, if you like HOGs, there are actually a couple of pretty good ones in there, so it actually had a lot of play value...but as such, it was waaaaaaayyyyy over-gifted.

happened to me when i first reached level 7 too :p the number 7 here is almost as bad as the number 3 for valve. but my drop was due to the free weekend play for Laser League that turned my 15P to an instant 0P... glad its back to normal now, but it wasnt a pleasant experience :<

I blame your drop on global warming but on the positive side: now you can reach level VII twice. :D
A good idea is to consolidate your level so you can't drop a level, It worked for me. ^^

I've been hovering around Level 5 for the last couple months, I get over the line, and boom, back down to level 4.9 again. :'(

it's because people kept complaining there are only 10 levels. they said it was to easy to get there and have nothing to live for anymore. So cg decided to introduce random cv drops so you can experience the joy of leveling up (and down) over and over again!

after trying so hard and i finally reached lvl 7. i fell back down to 6. in the beginning i thought it probably because of a bug , or maybe it even had something to do with all the damn policy change emails i have been getting nonstop. when i found out that wasnt the case , i thought it might be because of some of the bundles and stuff i exploited you know which bundle i am talking about. ( dont look at me , blame people for having trash taste and entering my gibs). i honestly wanted that to be the case , since that would give me the chance to make another shitpost about getting punished for abusing the system. but no , had to take that away from me too ( just like he took away my CV). so now , i am sitting here with no CV and no shitpost. WHY?! at this point i blame everyone that had the audacity to congratulate me on reaching lvl 7 , its all their fault. they jinxed me. they took away my CV AND my sense of accomplishment away from me and left me naked and hurt in the gutter. all as some sick joke , to make think that people on this place are actually decent. cant even curse them out cause its Ramadan , not like i am a Muslim or anything . but still , its Ramadan.
idk if i am ready to trust this place again yet , will wait and see.
