Knights of Pen and Paper +1 = 0%

Leviathan: Warships = -25%

I understand that is for publisher catalogue, right?

For example: Showdown Effect = -50% (developer Arrowhead Game Studios, publisher Paradox)

For me either it is Paradox weekend or not...

Still, it's available for like $2 on Android, they could have given us a break...

exactly my thought :) - that much for steam achievements? ;P

No, that much to play it on your PC and not a tiny phone or tablet. Plus, this is the deluxe edition that is being sold on Steam. Is the deluxe edition $2 on Android?

If you want to play your Android games on PC, get Bluestacks Emulator.
Sure, it won't be on Steam, sure, you won't get achievements... but you eliminate the small "on a tiny phone or tablet" and use your mouse.

Also, it's not called "Deluxe" - it's called the +1 Edition. The Android version has been updated to the +1 Edition.

The Steam store page uses both the terms "+1 Edition" and "Deluxe Edition" (seemingly to describe the same edition). I used the latter because it is the more generic of the two, and thus would be the most recognizable.

Sorry for the confusion. They are not the same thing.
The Deluxe is the +1 with extra goodies on PC. Optional DLC, so to speak.

I apologize too. I thought they were the same thing somehow. I read the description pretty closely but somehow overlooked the two buy options.

Pen & Paper was released this week on Steam, it has been out for a while on Android.

Oh... I just thought it was released on both platforms... Still I'm not convinced ;) But mainly just because that on http://www.greenmangaming.com today was sale (-20%) so it's not like that title wasn't on sale...

I was hopeful when I saw the sale.

But should have realized that the Old Gods dlc for CK2 wouldn't be on sale.

exactly my feeling... :( it hurts more cause I always thought better of Paradox... and this is similar to Mass Effect 3 on Steam drama.

how is that even relevant? Old Gods DLC price with ME3 drama???

Cause sellers should work with developers and publishers and both examples proves that is difficult sometimes :)

This has nothing to do with sellers working with developers and publishers. The publisher and/or the developer here chose not to discount (or to only lightly discount in the case of Leviathan Warships) games that just recently came out. This should not be such a shocking decision.

Exactly. It's too new, so my hopes were merely the result of not thinking.

those who really like PDS games like CK2 usually buy such a thingy on a release. The same goes for EU4 preorder

Ugh.

I cannot support their current "release half a game, sell dlc's to finish it" pricing model. I preferred it when they had the "release half a game, patch it to finish it" model. Worked perfectly well for EU1 and 2.

EU4 is going to suck until the 5th patch and final dlc. Don't spend your money until you have to, and then spend it when the product is on sale.

Supporting bad practices only makes them propagate.

You're complaining way too much about a sale... I pretty much never call anyone entitled, but you're an exception.
