I think it should be okay to mark as received. The Base Founder's Package includes everything that the Starter Pack does plus an extra ship, so you did get the content that was advertised. Copies of the game that were purchased prior to it going free-to-play became this package. In this particular case the fact that the name doesn't match doesn't really seem relevant to me. The DLC packages for this game may not even show up in people's libraries anyway so it could be a moot point.

As others have said, as long as what you received contained what the giveaway was for, it's fine. (No matter the name of the package) It's OK if there's more to it. As long as you have the game on your profile, you will not get in trouble.
I would suggest that you mark it as received and close your support ticket. That will be one less for the mods to look at.

I'm not sure if a person can even look to see what other DLC a person owns, can they? I tried looking at yours, but couldn't see anything one way or another. I know some of it shows up in the library, but I don't think DLC for any F2P game does anyways.

but until he's activated the key, he won't know it's not what he won, and it's down to the gifter to make sure the correct key is given

Oh my, you are idealistic and green. No, it's wishful thinking, but that was a suggestion I had going back a long time ago.
Also, a lot of DLC (but not all) does not show up in the library of people's Steam profiles, so I don't know how much of it would be feasible to track. Maybe behind-the-scenes APIs that are used can correctly share DLC ownership info, but I personally have no idea if that is the case.

?? Many things have easy access here, i would not be surprised if the system was automatic.
But not knowing doesnt make me idealistic and green (there is a difference between "knowing" and "wanting to"), it just makes me ignorant about this topic hence a wild guess about how the system work.
At the end, i could care less how the admins administrate the forum.

Okay, I have seen other threads about my issue - winning a GA and getting the wrong key. In my case, I won a DLC, and the content was actually the same as what was listed in the GA, but the package name was different. I want to mark it as 'received' because I got the content, but I also dont want to get in trouble because the package listed is different.
I contacted support, but it has been 5 days with no response. How long should I wait for support to get back to me? I am really not sure what to do, and I do not want to get in trouble or anything.
