My first and only Train Simulator was a game called "Trainz 2009" where essentially I built my own massive train theme park of sorts, including this crazy high speed track that defied the laws of gravity (and should have derailed trains because of 90 degree turns in places), a slow track for pussies, a giant drop, and then this massive city nearby with a multitude of cargo trains that I had some how set to cross the high speed track multiple times to reach this giant station thing.
Unfortunately, it got wiped along with the game and all the mod content after a HDD crash, but I'll never forget just how awesome it was...:'(

The opportunity to tie Sean Bean to the tracks and run over him in a freight train is something I'd pay good money for.
Another $39.99 DLC release, perhaps?

Probably won't play the game though.
