Hi there, i open this thread for some tips or recomendations about what can i do, if bought Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition or DIshonored GOTY. (tremorgames add both recently and i can buy one :D )

So... I played Fallout NV without DLC's on PS3 and i love it (i prefer fallout3 but i enjoy a lot this one too)i can't finish it (because my ps3 are dead :/ ) but im sure i complete about 70% game, secundarys includes. But this version with all the DLC's and on a good pc probably are more better (and long) experience than i played on ps3...

For other way. i never played Dishonored, and normally i dont like the "infiltration" games but recently i try the last "Thief" and i recognize its a jewel, i finish it and i replay some missions for try get all the archivements, Dishonored looks like Thief but im not sure if its the same style with "powers" or the game looks like Thief but its completaly different. I mean the powers are the "new" arrows and hooks of thief?

The second questions is: In Dishonored how much change the end if u kill some enemys on all the game? Because i repeat: im not very silent in that games so problably ends with some "accidental" or "necessary" kills :/

Thanks a lot for reading, reply and dont cry cause my english. Take care guys!

Both good games. If you want more hours Fallout new vegas took gave me around 100+ hours and you can probably get more although have in mind is a bug fest, so if you are not patient with that kind of stuff avoid.

Dishonored is fun to stealth kill, the non lethal path is not that great beause of the lack of options. Story is serviceable. The killing or no killing ending is just an annoying intent of add morality, they only change the ending video and the ammount of rats you are going to see.

Non lethal isn't less fun than the bloody way.
You have a few skills less at you disposal than for a lethal run, but it requires personal skills and environment awareness to pull, which can be very gratifying.

Killing more also adds more weepers, though I have yet to do a full lethal run.

I've out in more than 600 hours on multiple characters of different play styles on New Vegas. Dishonored really didn't appeal to me after watching gameplay videos.
New Vegas for the win.

I WANT THOSE 600 HOURS OF MY LIFE BACK!

Those and the over 7K hours I put into Guild Wars 1. >_<

I suddenly got bored exploring the mojave. Any idea to make things interesting again? Or is it because I'm using energy weapon only?

Depends on what you want. Fallout will give you hours and hours of fun while Dishonored is just the storyline + secondary missions that means less hours as in New Vegas you can create loads of different characters.

For you - Fallout.
I guess if you are clumsy you will not get the satisfaction of mastering the stealth (which demands so much time and frustration) in the game and that way getting the best ending.

If you've appreciated Thief as much as you say, then I'd say Dishonored will be a good surprise to you.
To me, playing Dishonored for the 1st time was similar to playing Deus Ex... I had a wonderful time.

Dishonored allows for a more action packed infiltration game, and the skills at your disposal can give you a lot of options.
Either blink from shadow to shadow, or from rooftops to rooftops. Stop time and run from a corner, through a crowd, to another corner. Summon a pack of rats to distract the enemies...

Overall I found the game to be a marvel, and have yet to complete the DLCs (which I recommend for as little as I played them).
If you want a dark(ish) immersive game with great mechanics, go for it. Especially since you've already played FN:V, which is also a great game.

Edit : Forgot about the kills.
If you kill a lot of people, there will be more rats and weepers (sick people who attack on sight) and it will change the end (chaotic). At the end of each chapter you get a recap, in which you get the global amount of chaos which is measured by your kills.
For the 1st few chapters I killed lots and lots of people and still had no trouble getting back to low chaos within a few missions later.
Learning to get stealthy is very fun and rewarding when you put your mind into it.

Edit 2 : And that comes from someone who always rolled a warrior, used the M60 for the rest of the story in Hitman 2 and loved to clear maps in Bloodmoney.

Get both while they're on sale. Otherwise, New Vegas will keep you satisfied for a long time and the dlcs are great (well, except for Honest Hearts anyway).
