check to see if there's an apple logo on your system.
if there is, proceed to throw it out the window and get a better computer.
no need to thank me

Vsync and Triple Buffering can add some input lag but it shouldn't be as bad as you say. You can always try to turn them off. It could also be a graphics card driver issue; get the latest driver or try rolling back to an older version. What are your specs? If your mac is giving you low fps in heavy games then you could lower shaders and shadows and keep a decent resolution. If your (overprized, sorry had to do it) mac has an intergraded VGA then that would explain the horrible performance and there is not much you could do about it.

Thanks. I'll try reducing those settings. Radeon HD 4670, 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB DDR3. I'll run an update and check for new drivers.
EDIT: I agree that Apple products are overpriced, but on the plus side they retain value better than nearly every other brand. Also, all things considered, I paid $350 for this machine about 15 months ago (above specs, 27") and have full coverage through late 2013. So... it's all right.

You sure got yourself a deal. I think one of the reasons their products retain value is that they don't bloat their product lines.
With those specs you shouldn't be able to push everything to max settings but with a few clever compromises you shouldn't have to sacrifice much picture quality to get good fps. If you still can't get decent performance then use fraps and try changing them one at a time and see which of them make the biggest performance impact. I don't know much about bootcamp but I don't see why it would affect Windows. Do not worry about 32 bit exe, they run fine on 64 bit OS.

Here's a link to the drivers at AMD which are specific to bootcamp. You can also try to install regular AMD drivers, which are a lot more up to date. See instructions here. (Note that I haven't tested if this works.)
Edit: I just installed the latest AMD drivers on my MacBook Pro at work, which I downloaded from the second link above. I didn't run Driver Sweeper, just installed the new drivers and they installed without a problem. I can now run gDebugger and other nifty things. I have no idea if this will make the games you want run perfectly (I have no games installed) but my guess is it will probably improve gaming at least somewhat.

Yes, it means your computer is crap for games. Get a PC.

Hi, wondering if anyone can help. I've got Windows 7 Home installed via bootcamp on my iMac. Most games are fine, but several of them are unplayable. On games like Rochard, Sanctum, and Dawn of War 2: Retribution, the mouse cursor lags so far behind my movements it's absurd. With Rochard, I turned the resolution way down and that seemed to help. The same trick did not work for Sanctum or DOW2R. Can someone please suggest an alternative course of action? Very frustrating. Thanks.
EDIT: BTW, Just noticed while closing Sanctum, that it says "Sanctum-32." Could this be a 32bit vs. 64bit issue? Maybe it's worsened by bootcamp?
