I'm in the same boat now, i think a gpu was a better investment.

I have a friend who bought a keypad to replace his keyboard, then a month later he bought a gaming keyboard to replace his keypad ... all in all it was a waste of money because he never uses all of the special features. xD

I was considering something like that back when I used to play MMOs; but then considering that I only play somethinf like five hours per week, I decided that my keyboard/mouse/Xbox controller were plenty enough.
However, I knew a few people who used the G13 and they all said it was great.

I cant even adapt my muscle memory to use a gamepad. I spent a lot of time trying to play with a controller, but in the end I decided it was not worth it as a mouse is simply much more efficient. I can easily do all the combos in street fighter and king of fighters, but I struggle to even pull of the basic moves on a controller.
Aside from my monitor, I don't think I would ever want to use any device with a joystick.

I had the same problem with you (gamepad) but after i played Batman Arkham city on Wii U(wanted or not) i used to it, so now i play all the third person, platformers, racing games with a controller and all the others with mouse/kb :)

I never tried the Orbeweaver, I have the G13 and it's great. You can't go wrong with it, especially if you buy it for what Amazon is asking ($60, sometimes less). I paid more locally and still consider it to be one of the better hardware purchases I made in the last few years. It's so comfortable and configurable, it really does make a difference. And to think that the reason to buy one was that the W and S in a regular keyboard WASD aren't aligned (am I OCD for caring about that?)

Thanks for the tip i keep in mind, also nice and fair price on amazon, here the g13 costs around 90€ and the orbweaver 130€ which is ridiculous, also now i have a feeling that the g13 is more comfortable.

i wanted to burn some money on a gaming keypad but i was strangle which one to choose:
the Razer Orbweaver
or the Logitech G13
Finally after some deep search, reviews and videos i got the Orbweaver, The first day i was like wow nice stuff (after 1 hour of gameplay), the second day i wanted to return it because my hands are small and somehow strangle to reach the upper row and the 09,10 buttons, but i can' t from the time i plugit in on my pc and the synapse encourage me to register it for warranty, now after 4-5 days with borderlands 2 for testing its quite good after some tweaking, muscle memory, changing hand placement and let free the middle palm rest. (i think its all about to get used to it).
In conclusion the keypad is really well made and surprised by razer, it was an unnecessary accessory for my gaming and my Corsair k70 was enough.
Any opinions are welcome.
