When someone buys the bundle at the minimum price it increases the minimum slightly. When someone buys the bundle above minimum, it knocks it back down slightly (unless someone spends a lot more, then it knocks it down a lot).
Yes they do not have above or below average brackets, only an option to get some extra music if you spend over $8. This makes it different than other bundles but I don't see how it should connote something strange or even underhanded as wojtek858 seems to imply.

If bundle is popular, then price raises fast to some barrier, after which it stops, like suddenly there were same amount of people buying for minimum and ~8€, which obviously doesn't happen. When somebody makes huge contribution, price drops a lot, but then comes back to exact same as before. I'm not saying that they do it always, but it happens, I would just say that they keep price at some maximum, because if it raised too much, they would lost a lot of sales.
Also, I don't know how their tracking system above the chart works, but after some time numbers don't correspond what should happen with the price according their legend.
EDIT just a little example from this moment - http://i.imgur.com/TOaEY2M.png there is 14 minutes difference between purchases, yet, their system didn't work - and it's not best example, because I've seen many more of such bugs in same moment before.

Now it is bundled, and i for one dun buy bundled games for their store price.
For all i know i may get Fieldrunner for a fortix on trade.

exactly though by buying it in a bundle you're getting it a lot cheaper with other games. no one is going to buy this game at full price now that the bundles out with field runners in it.
buying from the bundle is the best price you're going to get. though the trade is nice.

and I usually like the Royales. too fast, too many repeats, and Cognition not being on Steam = nah. also, not having money.
