So does anyone know what DRM will GTA V on pc use?

I see that can be preordered on GMG and it's listed Other DRM.

On the internet i see that GTA V will only use Steam.

Social Club isn't really a DRM though, the games I've tried (GTA IV, LA Noire) don't actually require you to make an account or login. However it does prevent family sharing them for some odd reason, on Rockstar's request I suppose.

It's requires key = no family sharing.

Social Club uses Solidshield for DRM.

They confirmed that Social Club exists in V, so... that's likely best guess.
It could be updated version without DRM and Steam.

Also I believe you can't play Max Payne 3 until you log in to RSC.

It's going to use all of them. You'll have to verify your copy's authenticity every 5 minutes or you'll be locked out for the day.

Sounds kinda bullshit because "Rockstar never wanted to release a PC version of GTA V, but due to high public demand, they were forced to do so" - high PC-public demand means nothing for R*.

Especially since R* had GTA5 in Steam databases since console release.

Yeah. Just look at Red Dead Redemption if you need proof of this.

You know people have been saying that someone paid R so they wouldn't release their games on PC? Smells like someone that wants to sell consoles cough cough*.

I think there are enough people with whatever reason (probably justifying a console purchase just for GTA V) to create and spread false rumors of this kind; just look at these 14000 people and their "eloquent" comments.

It's anybody's guess... but I'd say Rockstar Social Club if you purchase a physical copy. If you use the Steam copy, both Rockstar Social Club and Steam DRM.
