Well as i teased a bit about it, a week ago, here is my first Valentine's Day Jigidi thread.

Slightly different then with the christmas advent, i am posting all jigidi's for this event now, and it's up to you if you want to do a few a day, or if you are so addicted you want them to all of them right away, up to you, you will have 1 week to solve them.
But, being Valentine, the giveaways itself will run only on 14 February, starting on 0:00 GMT +1 or Amsterdam time and ending 23:59.
As usual there are no level restrictions, no sgtools, as for blacklists the giveaways will be held through me and Delisper.

And again a big thank you to Seretti for donations.

Love that song. :)

Excellent lyrics, great video and simply hauntingly beautiful.

Yeah it's catchy. :) On a sidenote there are people saying it's about a school shooting (which makes the song alot darker) and which you might not even notice until you read about it (like me). Still great song eitherway.

Yeah, I was aware of that. But that background is one of the reasons why I fell in love with the song, as it is a marvellous display of David Bowie's genious. Including that video clip, which I only recently saw for the first time. It really gives the song an even darker edge (if that is possible at all) due to the composition and acting.

I always get goose bumps when I listen closely...

Teaser is right! I did really like that final album (Black Star) he did, but I enjoyed the previous (and much longer one) that he did even more.

Man, I miss Bowie. We've lost some of the world's most innovative musicians over the past couple of years. Bowie. Cornell. The list goes on...

Don't forget to add Tom Petty to that list. :(

Definitely. And Gregg Allman. Malcolm Young. Fats Domino. Walter Becker. Chuck @#$!ing Berry! Butch Trucks.

There are more, too, that I can't think of right now. 2017 was indeed an incredibly shitty year for losing amazing artists.

Bowie was one of the greats. I like almost all of his work and Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars is one of my favourite albums ever.

I was listening to a podcast about Bowie earlier this week. Sad he's gone and part of me wishes I was old enough to see him in the early 70's. He had a great career though, and left us with some great music.

I was lucky to see him in a 2000 show here in the netherlands. We had seats all the way up, but there were alot empty (still there were alot of people) but that meant a whole bunch moved up closer. :)
Later found out someone taped the concert from behind me, and still got the bootleg, but even without that it was still a show never to forget.

I saw Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones (in a place with very crappy audio), Bowie's would be on the first place of best concerts i been too (Alan Parsons Project second, but that was cool because it was front row).

The Rolling Stones are another group I would've loved to see in their peak. I imagine they'll still sound pretty good now, but won't have the same energy.

If they perform in a concert hall with good acoustics then yeah they still sound very good.

Been also more then 15 years ago when i saw them, they were still rocking back then, think they still do.
Maybe their young girlfriends and kids keep them young. :p Better try seeing them while you still can. ;)
Always thought i would have another chance with Bowie, but alas.
