Overpriced. As good as they might be, I cannot justify paying 31,52€ for Hades, Transistor and Pyre and their soundtracks (I already have Bastion). Definitely a skip for me.

Too bad they recently raised the prices in many regions in accordance to valve's bullshit new pricing suggestions (made when the dollar was at all-time-high), so the discounts might look better but the prices are higher than HL. Otherwise I'd be buying.
[edit] https://steamdb.info/app/462770/ you can see that almost half of the regions had a better price at -75% that then now have at -80%. Quite ridiculous. For Hades: https://steamdb.info/app/1145360/ the current -50% is more expensive than the previous -50% in almost every region.

I'm sure that Hades is worth it at full price but that's not the point. I am SO mad at valve's new prices that I simply refuse to buy any game that follows it, and especially mad at the games that were previously priced fair but then updated their prices. I simply just buy the old-priced games at steam sales and the rest either wait for a bundle or buy keys in shops that use USD or EUR prices because it's just cheaper. In this case I will probably wait for Pyre to appear in a bundle (as I'm not fully convinced I'll enjoy it) and for a good USD offer on Hades in some external shop. Skipping soundtracks for now.

You're welcome!
It took a while for it to land with me, and I'm still a bit salty about a thing or two. They mixed an incredibly rich and interesting world with a limited action formula and an "X month passes" mechanic. So you travel idk, 7 locations, have 7 interactions with your group at max, then other times "months pass" without getting any any talk with your besties and that's noooooot faaaaaair.
Upside: It's that good that I wanted more of it. Also, letting go and not getting all you want, and dealing with losses is a central theme in the game, including the games themselves, you don't need to win a single match to progress through the game.
By mid-game I was incredibly invested. Music, graphics, themes - they are incredibly memorable, and had a very lasting impression on me. I'm incredibly happy that I got to play it ^^

ah you talking about reginal price getting removed, also ture the price incresed.
i have seen this practice before incrse price before the discount.
(it is a strategy but a annyoing one for player)
I saw a game praticaly been full price and then increase price to then after discount has the same price has it use to be before...

They should make two bundles, one with and one without the soundtracks.

This is one I wish there was a game-only bundle. The soundtracks are great, but I don't really need them. I only haven't played Hades, and I'll just keep waiting for a steeper sale.

Soundtracks should be included with game purchases. That being said, I am fine with Songs of Supergiant Games: 10th Anniversary Collection because it's a separate project where they made orchestral recordings of the best songs from all four of their games.

I would prefer the bundle to not include any music stuff. I just meant that charging extra for the orchestral recordings is fair but charging extra for the OST of a game you already bought is stupid

Yeah, it's just a way to grab more monies. I bought some (like Bastion and Transistor OST) because I can download them and listen in the car, but otherwise most soundtracks are on spotify anyway, so there's usually no point, since Steam app doesn't have the music player.

I'm planning on buying Pyre 3'90€, I think it is the historical low. Never bundled as far as I know.
I bought Bastion on release and I think it was a nice game, at least when it was released.
I would buy Transistor, but is one of the few games I actually installed, played and finished on Epic Games (it was given away, I don't buy on that store). It was only bundled once on a big Christmas bundle, more expensive bundle than usual and interesting games mixed with many I already had.
All the people say Hades is great, and I believe it, but I have a big backlog and don't want to spend too many hours right now. I will eventually play it someday.
I usually don't buy soundtracks, so just the games in my case.

I am able to see this is no Black VS White, each company has its advantages and disadvantages.
But I don't like Epic's Exclusive buying behavior, and lately its CEO has been saying that SteamWorks is to blame because there is No real Cross-Play for this reason. I know Steam is not working as a charity, they are trying to earn money, but things like the community discussions, workshop, remote play together, steamworks... Are what make Steam more than a Store.
I know the CEO is just one person of the company, but his discourse leaves the copany's image partly tainted. I think Epic should focus on making its store more attractive, instead of complaining publicly about the others.

True. As I said, all stores have their advantages and disadvantages. That was a very dirty move.

How did you see the exact amount of untouched games? It may be probable, I've been buying games in bundles for years because it seemed cheaper. Then I ended up not playing many of them, in fact, the untouched games should be even more, but IdleMasterExtended is faking my playtimes.
But I decided some time ago not to buy anything I wasn't going to play directly on that same week, and I am doing much better now (not perfect). If I buy Pyre, I am going to try it.
Apart from that, Steam and PC is/are my main library, so sometimes I play the games I bought for PC in other platforms, Xbox and Nintendo Switch for example, I used the later pretty much specially while I was waiting for my Steam Deck to arrive home (around 10 months).
Happy cakeday!

Thank you ^^
And I apologize for the tease, I just like to remind people of their unplayed collection, so I have to remember mine.
Here is the link to the calculator with my Steam ID to show that I'm a terrible person when it came bought vs played games 😋
https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561197970560724/
And like 150 "played" games are only card-farmed games
But I'm happy to to tell I'm working on it. First, the card farmed titles so my stat eventually shows the truth. Steam Deck helps a lot. So many indie titles are so more fun on the Deck than on PC

Hey boy, I finished Pyre some days ago, I am waiting for your apology... (I'm kidding).

The games themselves is quite a good deal (thx for the heads up), but the soundtracks....
Besides the ''Still alive'' from Portal (which was like comical relief after the game) and ''Zombies on your lawn'' from Plants vs Zombies I have never listened to game music outside of the game itself. Not on purpose at least.
Why would I ever pay for the soundtracks, let alone 5 x 9,75€ when not on sale?! That's insane, I mean to hell with that. It's just... Inane.

The games have insanely good soundtracks IMO, but it's up to you if it's worth buying or not.
It's more of a support-thing as in Supergiant's case, as they upload every games' soundtracks for their youtube channel for free

Don't get me wrong, some game soundtracks are like you say; Insanely good. But they work (usually) within the game and not really without. To me at least. I find the structure, tempo, and lenghts of game music is similar to film music - works when the visuals are there, but not so well without. So I love to listen to it while I play, but wouldn't dream about putting it on my mp3-player.
The support thing though - that I had not thought about before. And the fact that they upload them for free is pretty cool of them.

I have Pyre on itch.io, so won't buy it again. Hades I will probably get at some point, but my backlog is a wee bit insane. I have enough to play, just need to find the time to play them.
I am guilty of buying one soundtrack. Ori and the Blind Forest. It's beautiful and I like to play instrumental stuff when I work since it's not distracting.
But bundling your soundtracks really isn't going to force people to buy them, Supergiant.
