Download for Civ V glitched. Please help.

Alright so I'm downloading Civ V and it's just stuck at 37%. I tried deleting the game and Steam froze. I tried verifying game integrity and Steam didn't do anything. all other downloads work but not this. What do I do?

Ask for help, then suggest advice is irrelevant. Priceless.

It may be relevant because it may be a server side issue, rather than a Steam client issue or software issue.

Like.. let's say that Civ5 is only partially on that server cuz corrupted or something.

Well, it's not that. It's that if they've tried everything they thought was relevant and produced no results.. continuing to do only what they believe is relevant will result in the same results.

Basically, "I want help, but I don't really".

try changing download regions, prolly content server that you're downloading from is busy.

Have you tried turning it off then turning it back on again?
