If it was released now it would have gone into a direct competition with AC4 which was even weirder since it's the same company taking the profit. I still find it more than weird that 1 month before the expected release date they move it forward not another month, not 2, but 6-7-8 months ahead in time. I mean ok, hadn't you had your calculations straight beforehand?

A small delay is usually good, it makes people anticipate something even more, but such a big delay can be a bit too much for the regular gamer. I more or less understand the fiscal year stuff, but they shouldn't have announced it a 'next-gen launch title' for such a long time to just drop off the whole idea so close to the start. Oh well, I hope for the best for the game as it does look promising indeed.

Cant say Im disappointed. Backlog is already hella long and as stated by others, gives more time to upgrade and such. It affects the new consoles more I believe since it was arguably the biggest third party title to launch.

Next to The Division, this is the game I'm looking forward to the most. Now both games will come out at about the same time, and GTA 5 might come to PC before WD, that could have swooped away all those sales. I wonder if they are afraid people will not buy a GTA clone so close to the release of GTA 5?
