is it just me?
They are alot smaller then we have here, here they sell boxes with the layers and the sauce.
Of those it fits barely 3 in a row on a decent big ovenscale, with some scraping you can make 2 layers, but then you are still left with 3, 6 or even more of those things, with the prescribed amount of meat (350-500 gram of minced meat).
Also those big layers you don't cook, they go like that in the oven (and if you didn't put it long enough in the oven, they will still be hard and your lasagna taste crap. Those in the youtube clip seems alot better.

From the image Lugum is showing, it looks like he might be using traditional lasagna noodles [which should be boiled before being baked] rather than no-boil noodles, which are the dominantly available form of lasagna noodles in the states.
Traditional noodles are flat, while no-boil noodles are waved. It's a bit hard to tell from the image, but the noodles shown to appear to be rather flat.
If not that, I'd say he should try and find a different brand, or preboil them regardless of what they're labeled as.

Maybe yours is the exception. :D
@Lugum
But I'm fine with our format. I get to 4-5 layers, of course you shouldn't use too much sauce between them and press it a little bit down. Oh, and you may pre-cook the layers, it just states that it isn't needed.
Thanks for the puzzle!

Use the extras and just make a big container(s) that could feed a small village. Then eat a double serving of the yummy goodness every other meal for the next week. Works for me!

where is the issue here? it's not like they go bad within the next few days. so just put the leftover lasagna sheets into your cupboard and there you go.

Oh they do? I wasn't aware of that! They are being sold seperately in my country. :)

I guess that's intended, so that you have something to remember you to buy that pack again.
I'm not familiar with this kind of lasagna packs. Am I getting this right, that there are fresh vegetables included to make your own sauce?
Btw, you can just break the plates into small pieces and use as normal pasta.

No, you get the layers and the sauce, the sauce is a powder which you have to add water and milk to. Milk, meat and vegetables (they got several precut variants in the store) you have to buy seperate, sometime i like to add bacon dices.
We used to have a version that had like butterfly shaped pasta that you just had to cook and it didn't need to go into the oven, doubtul if you can still call that real lasagne, but the manufacturer did.

I am always left with those extra layers when making it (without adding more meat and make it a meal for 10 persons), is it just me?
Bought a precut vegetable pack with mushrooms, big layer of cheese on top, easily made and yummy.
