Same here. I saw it in middle school and loved it. I was always afraid to rewatch it though because I'm worried I wont love it as much as when I was a kid.

I think it stands up well. Sadly not many people know the movie.

Haven't seen the movie, but the book was good. I liked Call of the Wild a little more though. Have you read it?

You know, until now I never realized it was a book. I just remember loving the movie and to this day being an avid animal lover because of it. I now have Call of the Wild and White Fang on my to read list!

Fight Club, Sleepy Hollow, The Matrix, Blade Runner and Dead Man. I'm talking about 14+, not sure about my preferences before that.

When I was a kid I used to love Spirit , The Fox and The Hound and Lilo and Stitch

There are so many childhood movies though. This thread is reminding me of a lot of them :P

The Secret of NIMH

The Three Caballeros

We're three caballeros
Three gay caballeros
They say we are birds of a feather
We're happy amigos
No matter where he goes
The one, two, and three goes
We're always together

We're three happy chappies
With snappy serapes
You'll find us beneath our sombreros
We're brave and we'll stay so
We're bright as a peso

Who says so?
We say so!
The three caballeros

Depends on period of growing up ;) First as a kid it was Jumanji, later on as older kid / young teenager it Was Star Wars Episode VI, and as an older teenager it was Donnie Darko.

Star Wars.

My parents had to buy me the first trilogy multiple times due to the VHS tapes they were stored on constantly getting these annoying warps and tracks because of me watching them nearly every day of the week :>. Though there were a lot of other great kids movies around back then, like all the Disney stuff, Home Alone, Fantaghiro, that Muppets Christmas thing, Back to the Future, Turtles, Jumanji, Karate Kid, Goonies, Ghost Busters, The Sandlot, Neverending Story, Land Before Time, An American Tail, Toy Story ... man, probably forgot more than half of what I'd like to mention. Don't even get me started on all the cartoons, pure awesomeness :>.

I've been trying to answer this. It's a tough one. I got hooked on serious movies when I was still in junior high, I think. So, all through my teenage years I was watching movies like The Deer Hunter, Dog Day Afternoon, Taxi Driver.

When I was little, I watched everything you'd expect me to watch in the late 70s/early 80s: Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, E.T., etc.

I guess some favorites were The Goonies, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom... When did Stand By Me come out? That was really good.

As a 90s kid ....there is only one answer : jurassic park ... dinos > all
Not so often but dozens of times Indiana Jones 1-3 and Highlander
all the bud spencer and terence hill movies were as a kid of course also unavoidable
guilty pleasure was assuredly the Mortal Kombat and the Street Fighter Movie ;O ( because of the SNES Games)

My favorite Animation was Felidae cel animation > all

But for some strange reason...I first thought of Fantaghiro
