Odd fantasy battle I was thinking of today.

Aragorn would just pull out his bow and it'd be done and dusted in a few seconds.

Arthur was a scrawny dude who pulled out a sword out of a stone (Not considering real life Arthur, because he was a dick).

Aragorn is a Dunedain, a descendent from Numenorians, who in turn were descendents from the first men. And although the bloodline got weaker over the millennia, a Dunedain still would mop up a floor with any normal human.

Arthur was the bastard son of an asshole. His most loyal subject was fucking around with his wife. And he had an asshole bastard son born from fucking his sister.

Aragorn was the descendant of the numerorians that stayed loyal to a deal with the Gods, and had partly elven blood, even able to predict the future.

Excalibur was just a sword from a lake. And strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony
