The Prequel to Tale of Wuxia is going to be released on Steam on August 15 (or 14 depending on your time zone), 2017.
Edit: Released

It's a party-based martial arts RPG with turn-based top-down isometric hex grid based combat, featuring exploration and side quests, with three main characters and many secondary characters (some of whom can join the party).
The title on the Steam Store right now is pretty awkward (maybe the person assigned to write up a title went on a search engine and found a Borderlands title because it sounded similar?). Hopefully they can change it to something like Tale of Wuxia: The Prequel before release. Edit: Nope. They didn't. /facepalm

This release is not ideal for non-Chinese-reading players because of the shoddy localization, but I feel that it's still a very interesting game to experience regardless.

Feel free to ask me questions about the game.

Things I like about the game:

  • Character design
  • Art direction
  • Writing/Dialogue
  • Diverse themes and stories
  • Visiting all sorts of locales
  • Large roster+Unique character interactions (based on party composition)
  • Music
  • Customizable movesets and skills

Things I don't like about the game:

  • Not-so-great graphics
  • Better UI than Tale of Wuxia, but there's room for improvement
  • Some unintuitive quest chains
  • Not all characters are well-developed
  • Not quite as long as Tale of Wuxia
  • Some linear sections without alternative paths (maybe the upcoming free content DLC will address this)

English/Steam Version Only

  • Really bad English translations
  • Yay cloud saves and trading cards~
  • Probably won't get updates as often as the Chinese version, if at all
  • Marked up pricing to make buyers cover Valve's cut of revenue+Will probably never get a discount beside a measly launch week discount (the devs sold their souls to a crap publisher for funding).
  • Edit: New bugs. At first screen resolution couldn't be adjusted. After a hotfix, every in-combat character information panel and status icon got replaced with placeholders.

your poll is missing the duck and run away option...which is the only form of "martial arts" I know
And I'm sure I'm not alone with this xD

edit: and drunken is missing as well ^^

Duck and run away goes under internal style. Many of those techniques involve defense or evasion.
Drunken style is usually associated with the Drunken Fist Style. :)

Tale of Wuxia was surprisingly excellent +30h story and super tactical battle system, i had not loved a game so much since Suikoden. The english version was understandable (i'm not english native speaker).
So... Hyped for prequel of course ! XD

Any idea about the price of prequel please ? i hope 15-20€ like the other !

It's probably going to be priced the same as the previous game, since that was the case for the non-Steam digital versions of these two games.
