That is so cool! I was confused what it was at first, so I read about it also read interview with Mark J. Ferrari, whose images are used in it, and I'm amazed about this whole art form! Thank you so much for introducing it to me!
This method was used a lot in SNES/Genesis games. You usually see it in waterfalls, fire or some visual effects. Same for arcade games, I think King of Fighters made heavy use of this.
Oh bummer I missed the fact it had a demo (played too much Moonlighter 2 and Little Rocket Lab demos)...The video on the page gives off an interesting vibe...let's hope the odds are in my favor :) Thanks for the chance!
Yeah, I do have a problem with spending too much time on same few demos, instead of trying more different ones :)
And you didn't really miss much in that case, gameplay vise the demo wasn't all that impressive (I heard it gets better in the game itself). I would say art and the vibes are it's main appeal, so if you like the look of it - you'll probably like the game. And you can pet the dog! So good luck!
