Wanna hear something fun? My grandpa used to eat it WITH FORK AND KNIFE. No matter what spread or delimeat he had on top, always fork and knife. Even though the Knäcke was more breaking than being cut. lol.
I don't know when or why he started it, and if he just maintained it out of stubborness, but the sound of cutlery hitting the plate because the Knäcke gave way will haunt me like nails on chalkboard haha.
