Thanks for space race. I am not familiar with the options in the new XCOM but Rambo strategy is always a solid choise. It is achieved by creating a single super soldier which clears out all of the missions alone. By the end of the campaign, you pretty much should have a demi-god among your ranks that will kill most of the enemies just by flexing his muscles.

Erm ideas? I never played an X-Com game, but I always try to balance out my squads/units. Like having melee and ranged units. Support units can be both helpful and useless - depending on the mechanic of the game, the type of the missions you fulfill and characteristics of the units themselves.

when I played x-com in dos I remember overpowering one soldier, then I would steal alien technology and overpower another one till I had a team of chuck norris
