Thanks! I especially like very much platforms (in last years Mirror's Edge, Dustforce, Mario Galaxy, DKC Returns and Rayman Origins are the best) and fps online (cod, tf2, quake). Other games I liked in last years are Braid, Zelda series, Portal series, Deus Ex HR, Super Hexagon and some indie games.

Thanks, dude. And I can play pretty much anything except sports games or RTSs, I don't really have a favorite genre I guess.

Even though it says its 'action, adventure' on the steam store page, I don't really consider Darksiders an adventure game at all, to me it falls much more into the action (even action rpg) category.
I too love Darksiders though, it is such an amazing game!
I guess to me, when I think of adventure games, I think of something like the new 'The Walking Dead' and point and click games. idk lol.

I used to totally hate on people about how stupid Minecraft was. :
as an example, I saw a stream on twitch/justin tv of someone rebuilding a 1:1 scale of their favorite teams hockey stadium. I ask him, "whats the point... when you finish, do you get to play hockey on it? allowing you to get some use from it??" he replied 'no'... I ask, "then what is the whole point of doing all that work if you can't do anything but look at it when you are finished"

I thought it was useless and a waste of time, until someone bought it for me and I got to play it myself, now it's one of my favorite games, making sandbox-buidling genre a favorite one of mine. <I put the following statement in the middle hahah : 'I must be bored, no one is going to read any of this, even though I took a couple mins to answer the question in the description heh.'>

my #1 favorite genre is definitely strategy (RTS, tower defense style)
coming close to strategy are SHMUPS!! and pretty much any dual stick shooter style game like gatling gears, renegade ops, ballistic, inferno+, geometry wars, ect..
~~I also enjoy the single player aspect of FPS games like bulletstorm, the darkness 2, homefront, battlefield bad company 2 and battlefield 3(yes, the campaign for battlefield lol), the red faction games, and both transformers games just to name a few.
