Minor Series Giveaway #106 - Kohan Warchest [MINOR]

A very underrated RTS series. These are old games but they certainly qualify for "old but gold". Very playable!

IMPORTANT NOTE - please be here as soon as you win to accept Gift via Steam.

All kinds of comments welcome!
Good luck to win and have fun if you do!

Major Series [MAJOR] - Mainstream games as well as generally popular and cult hit ones; they often have "AAA" production quality or high monetary value.
Minor Series [MINOR] - Almost everything else, usually something that is good but not quite popular or valuable enough to warrant Major status.
???? Series [????] - To Be Revealed.

OMG! Where did you get this? I was looking for Kohan for a while now, can you tell me where can I even buy it? Seriously thanks for the giveaway

It's available in the Steam store for 90% off, at least for EU. 1€ for a game, or 2€ for tall 3 = warchest

Appears not to be available to purchase in all countries.

Steam blocks me from gifting from the US to the EU due to price difference.

Damn, Steam (and publishers?) is so crazy.

Looking at that, the regions in which it is unavailable... So random. It implies that New Zealanders can buy it, but not Aussies...?

Either way, I successfully gifted it to the winner already - they are from Brazil. Converted to their local price, they could have bought it for 1/4 of what I paid for it.

Yes, the price differences are partly brutal.
Other ones, indian guys, that i know say a 5€ wallet win in a discord server is enough for them to buy RDR2.

Steam and publishers dont mind gifting down in price as they collect more than if it was bought in Brazil.

Its also why EU members have less gifting issues (other than publisher region locks) as most of the world pays less than them.
And also why people in Brazil probably have a hard time gifting the rest of the world.

Some countries will also censor games or require some form of certification.

I want to and I would but it's unavailable in my country :( Tried buying it from keyshops but the pricing was insane (way too much for my wallet back then)

I used to play Kohan 2 a lot when I was a kid, loved this game.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it!

I remember playing the demo of Kohan 2 and liking it a lot, way back when, probably just a year after it was released.
According to the Steam reviews, the games are good and work fine on modern PCs, so I am looking forward to trying the originals and playing 2 again!

No worries and have fun!
