My criteria for whitelist is bit different. As you whitelisted me I went to your profile, saw that you didn't have much playtime on your wins so I held back.
I know that you have contributed well in just over a year, but for me your playtime was a downfall.
If you have seen my WL recruitment thread, I always include something in the line like

FizFix I am sorry about your condition and my special appreciation to your friends.
I know I sound like an ass but look through my perspective too, is it wrong to hope that the game will go to the one who will play it?
Even though you have played most of the games you won here at SG, we can't know because the script says you don't have playtime on any game. And the script is the only tool I have to measure that.
I can recommend you that for the games you have won on SG, try to play it from your steam account instead of your friends account, that way the gifters can know that the game they gifted is being played. And that way you can also join nice groups like Playing Appreciated, Playing Matters, Play or Pay SG, Actually Playing Games, Elite One Giveaways etc which have on average less than 40-50 entries.
WL recruitment you were asking such as 3rd year, 2nd Year or 1st Year. The requirement for WL is the reason why my WL GA have less than 10-15 entries, even though I have about 150 people in my WL or it may be because I am giving not that good game :(
As for not being WL friends, don't worry you'll have change if I see change in some of the stats. You too have a wonderful week FizFix :)
PS: Please don't expect for reciprocity on these things. You will get disappointed in the long run. I never tell users that they are whitelisted except on recruitment thread. And I don't ask them to whitelist me because I whitelisted them, that sounds a bit wrong.

Have I been forcing you to anything? If you think I am forcing you to play, you got it wrong. You whitelisted me, I didn't. You said "Fine, I removed you from my whitelist." Then I explained why I held back.
Another thing, you are free to join any universities, but for some you require 3.0GPA. Does that mean those elite universities are forcing you to study? You know you do have a choice right, if and only if you want to study on those, you need to meet the requirement. Same thing with Elitist groups you mentioned. After all you said you do play most of the games, I just recommended why not play with your account. It would just be a plus thing.
Well, the way you treated the whitelist feature with me doesn't look like a genuine gesture from heart and without any condition attached. if it would have been genuine it shouldn't have been used as a bargaining chip to get whitelisted back. One day: Hey I whitelisted you and a month later :Fine I removed you because you didn't whitelist me. Your whitelist did come to with an attached condition -> whitelisting back.
I am happy for you on the Karma thing and hope whitelist karma brings you more whitelist.

Again I am not forcing you to anything. I just said how I use my whitelist feature. And yeah that gave options. And the availability of option makes you feel forced then I am sorry. You know you can ignore any options right. Having less than 3.0 GPA doesn't end your student like. You can't get in only at those elitist university, but there are other universities you can get rolled to.
Why I made this the big deal was because without knowing the story you told above, your comment about adding/removing to/from whitelist looks like a giant ad. It looks like you were expecting WL from me and got didn't like when you didn't get whitelisted back.
That's how I saw it. That is what other will see without knowing your story.
After reading your story, I find that I was wrong and I am really sorry for thinking that you were using WL like bargaining tool in our context.
