One of the best indie strategy games in my opinion, the dlc is well worth it. If you've never played ai war download it right now its on sale!
This is what the dlc includes:
6 new ships, including:
5 new ship classes with a variety of abilities.
Enclave Starships and Regeneration Chambers for direct unlock.
6 new AI special weapons.
6 new AI Types.
3 Neinzul alien minor factions (NPCs).
Devastating new Hybrid Hives AI plot.

Two new map styles: X and Concentric Circles.

Did you play the tutorials? Playing all of them and then the tutorial scenario is pretty much vital in order to understand this game. It's fairly complicated and in depth but once you get the hang of it so much fun.
