Ah, just the thing I have been looking for. Finally a game where we can talk to the monsters. I was getting bored of all these "visceral" and "punchy" nonstop-pew-pew-slash-slash-wanton-destruction-and-action games. Thank you for sharing!

You joke, but that would be a brilliant idea for a game. To be able to resolve whatever is keeping the zombies here on instead of moving on? To be able to explore each ones backstory in a set of miniature "Witcher 3 stories".

I joke, but I agree with you.I don't know if you've ever played Murdered: Soul Suspect, but one of my favorite things about the game was the inclusion of vignettes centered around helping one or other of the town's ghosts come to terms with their deaths. Mechanically they all played out more simply than what you're describing, but the potential was certainly there.
