Description

Please don't enter only for the DLCs. I'll check it afterwards.

This comes directly from a flash sale; nice to see this once again.

Instead of thanking me, I'd highly appreciate suggestions for art prints (my walls are still too empty; I prefer surrealism, e.g. Dali, Miró).

Maybe try inka essenhigh

Well, you can check Rob Gonsalves and Renè Magritte.
But you can surely find something taking some frames from surrealist film like "un chien andalou"!
:D

Art is a personal thing so go with what you like. You're the one that has to look at it every day. l-)

Of course. I wouldn't hang sth. up only because someone said so. I just wanted to meet new artists and paintings.

Meow! Try Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell pictures! They are my favorites! (mostly fantasy art and some of 16+) Better than Miró's children's drawings :P

I remember using wallpapers of them 15 years ago. :D
But on the wall? Nah.

If you like Dali and Miro: Rene Magritte and Max Ernst are popular and easily accessible as prints. Yves Tanguy, and Giorgio de Chirico may be a little less familiar, but are among the same school, if you're looking for more in that style. M. C. Escher may be overplayed, but they're your walls - hang up what you want to see, regardless of whether other people have it (and he has many lesser known works, if you do want something of his that isn't as 'tired'). Hieronymus Bosch and H.R. Giger tend to be more nightmarish - depending on the context, you may not want them to brighten your walls.

You don't often see women named among surrealists - at least among the first, most popular names - but you can check out Lenora Carrington (if you like Hieronymus Bosch), Dorothea Tanning (some of her stuff is reminiscent of H.R. Giger...though since she was born in 1910, it may be more accurate to say some of his work is reminiscent of hers), Kay Sage (if you like the architectural elements of Dali's dreamscapes) and Remedios Varo.

If you're looking for someone working now, you can try Dave McKean and Charles Vess. Both worked with Neil Gaiman, and they are probably best known for those collaborations, but have bodies of work outside that.

Wow, thanks a bunch!
Didn't know Giger also created paintings. And obviously, Charles Vess needs someone for web design. :D

Another recommendation; Belgian comic artist Francois Schuiten. I recall some of his work being available from sites that specialize in prints and posters.

This is me not entering for the DLC's. I wish I'd been able to take advantage of the flash sale, but that's life for ya. IncoherentLight has already given you excellent tips, so I'll just thank you for sharing with the Community. )

Sorry, but since the game wasn't bundled yet, I assumed that many don't even own the base game yet (including me).

Thank you for the giveway!
A modern surrealist painter i really like and always fascinated me is Rob Gonsalves. He creates such unique combinations and armony with his art. Is quite psychologic too, is really interesting. Tell me what you think.

About... what?... Sorry, but I really don't know anything about art prints (especially anything that would fall under surrealism) so I can't really recommend anything. :/
Maybe something from Alice In Wonderlard (or Alice Madness for the video game equivalent)? That is usually associated with surrealism. Assuming there are art prints based on that of course.

Either way, thank you very much for the giveaway. :D

EDIT: Or not then, good luck to those who didn't buy the base game, I guess. Mjeh.

Superb GA, I absolutely love this game. Rising tide makes gameplay really much more interesting than base (and they honestly should have added it to base as a fix).
