It was an interesting view on it, though, as half an 8 turned sideways could resemble a "w" and the three beginnings could then be "www". A bit of a stretch, but still. :)

Sure, but if you remove the top half of that 8 (so that it looks more like a sideways 3), it could resemble a "w". Again, it's a bit of a stretch, but I could see how Omega interpreted "My three beginnings are half of an eight" as a potential "www".

this one has to do with the periodic table! so eight = element with atomic number 8, which is oxygen, and half of it is 'oxy'
3 beginnings = first 3 letters of the word :)
