"My country" is kind of vague for me because I'm from Canada with a pretty mixed immigrant background, but I'd say Jamaican saltfish fritters are a comfort food more people should know about.

Being as I live in the same country as APocketfulofStars, I can't really think of anything uniquely Canadian, food-wise.

I DO love devilled eggs, however. :)
