Sorry it took so long, but I opened a ticket through support regarding an unactivated win from your side and they were not responsive. However, I saw that you're not responsible for this. You should ask the creator for the Tropico 5 giveaway to delete the giveaway.
Otherwise, you will probably have a lot of issues.

Hey, thank you for letting me know. I remember this being a big deal back in the day, I wasn't sure if that was still a thing. I just didn't want to make any issues for him as it seemed like a honest mistake. I'll message him and see how it goes :) If that doesn't work out, should I reach to support or buy the game to be back in good standing?

Since you're not responsible for this, your best call is to ask the giveaway creator to open a ticket to support, asking for giveawat deletion. It's no big deal, you keep the game and the creator loses points for the giveaway,
Once this is done, this will remove the unnactivated win from your history and all will be fine.
If you don't receive answer from the giveaway creator, you can open a ticket to the support yourself, asking for help about the situation. But it's better to try the diplomatic approach with your gifter first :)

The person creating the giveaway didn't respond, so I opened the support ticket myself. Then it was resolved within a few hours :)
Also it turned out I still had leverage over this. As this was still a recent giveaway, I could have just changed the status from Received to Not Received. But at that point it was resolved by support already.
