Slip back out of the hole in the fence you found.

That guide was correct! You found a hole in the fence. Along with what looked like several other holes that have been closed off. They are serious. I wouldn't spend too long here or if you do, be very careful and creep around quietly.

There are plenty of places to explore here. If you take the asphalt road up, you'll reach the main courtyard. Here it looks like someone has converted a covered corner of a building into a bar. There are even drink names and prices listed. Another area looks like it's been converted to a stage. There are signs that warn against radioactivity or poison, you're not sure. Should you actually be here? You're starting to wonder. There are cool places above that you could climb up to if you're brave enough to venture into the dark. The smaller buildings seem to have more treacherous paths to get up high.

However, if you make your way up to the main building with the three giant globes, you can easily take the stairs all the way to the top of the tallest globe. Of course on your way there, you'll notice a ton of street art. Graffiti that looks like they were painted with a brush. If you took one of the 6 meter wide wall sections and shrunk it down, that mural painted on it, would seem like it was done with oil instead of spray paint. There are a ton of them and most of them are very awesome looking. If you go up to the very top of the main structure, every sound you make echos. This probably helped with spying on the Russians during the Cold War. Though as you are going up, you realize there is nothing to prevent you from walking right off the side of the structure itself and falling to your death.

Random Experience:

This was the first of the abandoned places I visited. We went all over this place climbing places that we should never have climbed. Getting onto things we should never have gotten onto. This was the beginning and it was the best. Further trips and excursions that I brought people here on ended in less and less access as the people who held the rights to the land started beefing up security. One time, I was being a right idiot, having drunk way too much and the apparent owner of the place flipped out after I threw a bottle. I didn't throw it anywhere near where people were, but I could understand his position. He wanted me to leave. I started out asking him to throw just me out and let my friends continue as they'd never been there before. But he was in a right fury at the time. So I engaged right back. My friends pretended to go toward the entrance, but once they were out of sight, because I was purposely walking slower and continuing to argue with the man, they turned left instead of right. They got to explore the place while I sat outside and waited patiently for them. I talked to one of the guys at the gate who was supposed to watch it and charge entrance fees. None of which we'd paid. I chattered away with the guy for a couple of hours as sun set. Finally the guy in charge came back and seemed surprised to see me still there. He asked me what I was doing, and I explained I was waiting. "Your friends are still inside, aren't they?"

"Of course, I walked slow and argued with you so they could get out of sight and continue to look around."

"Yeah, I was kinda pissed and was being unreasonable."

"No, I was a dumbass and treated the place with disrepsect. I understood where you were coming from, but some of them are leaving in a week and we don't have time to come back."

"I understand. So you're gonna continue to wait for them?"

"Yeah, I can't leave them up here, they'd get lost getting back."

"Sorry for yelling at you so much. Here, take this." And with that, he handed me the last half of his wine bottle. Not a bad Sangiovese either I might add. When my friends came back finally, I was tipsy as hell, having finished almost all of the bottle.

"Where'd you get that?"

"The owner," said with a shit-eating grin on my face.

"What?" And the story was retold. And has been many times since.
