It lets make a "pool" of images up to 500 and gives you a link, when use you the link it randomly selects one of those images to show. There are probably better sites that do that but I used this one years ago so it's the only one I remember and I have no idea how to find others like that (google just returns me examples of how to make random gallery for your site)

so, i can put, say, my imgur pic links there and they give me one link to put here, and it will randomly chose one each refresh??

Yes, exactly like that. There's a limitation to how many random pools you can have per account (2 max) but with 500 images on each it's not that bad.
