Bloo Kid 2 It was free from a Gleam giveaway, I haven't played it yet, but it's kinda like Super Mario. Doesn't get any more kid friendly than Mario!
Commander Keen I haven't played this in years, I can't remember how difficult it is, but it's very colorful, that alone could help keep a kid occupied!
Also, you can head over to this site: http://nesfun.com/ You can play tons of classic Nintendo games through your browser. You don't need to download anything either.
For movies, not much I can suggest, besides old Disney movies. I don't really keep up with new movies anymore x)

Thank you very much! We never heard about Bloo Kid. It looks really nice. Mario is great but difficult for almost 2 years old. Too much necessary jumping on time :) And we will check out nesfun. Hopefully our picky little fellow will get to like classic amazing games. Just like he did with animations

"The Berenstain Bears - In the Dark" was a fun interactive story telling game, not available on steam it seems but it is being sold on the Google Play Store(It is originally a PC game.)
Also how about Kerbal Space Program? Sure, that game is ultra complex but is a science class packaged in as a game. This is available on steam.
P.S: Thanks for the giveaway.

Thank you! We will try these titles with our boy. Kerbal looks difficult, but Bears might become liked :)
