Alternatively, [after friending someone] just go to the store page for each of the DLCs you want to check, and look at the "[X] friends already own this game" section [under the "Is this DLC relevant to you?" category in the rightside column of the page]. For example, https://steamcommunity.com/id/Raywen/friendsthatplay/329930 should show you who owns the fifth episode of LiS.
