Instead of generic bot "thanks", which may or may not get you blacklisted, you could instead choose to leave me recommendations for underrated mech/robot-fighting movies. That would be a better idea.
Since Pacific Rim is not exactly underrated and everyone knows Robot Jox as the most famous underrated mech fighting movie, i will go on and say that if you are one of those people that hate transformers because of the bad movies, both Bumblebee and Transformers One are amazing movies.
They are. I was cautious of Transformers One because it's not Peter Cullen voicing Prime, and it's set much earlier in their timeline than anything else I've ever seen, but it was a lot of fun in the end. Bumblebee was also much better than I expected!
They were somewhat big for the time, but now I rarely see get much talk about, the Tekkaman series. Some really good fights going on in it's series, with two movies (one is an extended episode into a movie, the other is a side story of sorts).
It doesn't spent all it's time in the mechs/semi transforming tanks, but interesting enough and a fun cheesy at time, is Gunhead from 1989.

If you haven’t seen Real Steel (2011), give it a shot. Criminally underrated — solid worldbuilding, great pacing, and way more heart than you'd expect from a robot boxing movie.
