Description

In celebration of my finally saving up enough money to build my new computer, I have decided to host several giveaways for games that are near and dear to me that I believe should have more attention now-a-days! Good luck everyone and instead of "thanks you", tell me a game that you love that you feel doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I've always been into games like Mass effect, Jade Empire, KOTOR, and so forth. So I think the Neverwinter Night series before they went massive player online. There is a one and two with lots of dlcs. I own and love them all. I would buy them again if they were brought on steam. XD Sadly had to find and order through amazon a while back just to get.

Oh, yes. I'd love it for the NWN series to come to Steam; I would certainly buy it again, too. Even though I was majorly disappointed with Storm of Zehir. It wasn't a bad game, it was just... so different from the series it was lacking everything I loved in it - mostly the heavy focus on character interactions and binding them, the characters, heavily into the story. Still, I'd play it again, too.

I know right! And then can you imagine how many more people you can talk about the games over? Would also be an easier install over hunting down a patch you need just to play them again. I have to keep that backup-ed on one of my external hard drives. I would truly love to see it come back. The friend who introduced me to them probably gets sick of me saying that in fact.

Yeah... Lucky for me, I still have a friend who I can talk with about the game endlessly, as I was the introducing one - I got MotB the day she came over for the night and I couldn't keep myself from playing it, even though she was there and I should probably offer some form of activity we could do together :D but she liked video games and good stories, she also liked D&D, so we spent that night playing together and she loved it enough to get the previous games. I wonder if the friend who introduced me still remembers it, though! She never was a gamer, but when I was visiting her once back in primary school times, I found the game CDs lying around and got curious, wondering what it is. She told me it's some kind of game, but wasn't really keen on trying it out, so I did. I fell in love and then kept telling her how great it is until she played it herself. :p

Good memories always seem to mark the games that much better. <3 I'm glad that not only you found to love them but you have memories and people who share that love with you. Gaming all night sounds just like something I would end up doing too. Lol Friend and I played L4D2 when she got me into it for a week. I never was one for horror games, still not, and shooters I could give or take, but that series is one I found myself playing for month after. Please share with me if you know of any more great games.

A month ago I would have said Darksiders but now they are releasing the third one (finally!). Human resources looked really cool and I loved the style but the kickstarter campaign failed.

I think that all the games that I loved at some point got enough attention.
Even Beyond Good and Evil is finally getting some kind of sequel/reboot! :D

Some PS1 classics I know will never get the love they deserve in a new generation:

-Forsaken (Acclaim Entertainment, 1998)
-Einhander (Square [before it was Square Enix], 1997)
-Colony Wars Franchise (Psygnosis, 1997, 1998, and 2000)
