Like you said there were GA with this game already but its not like its free on steam so i dont see a problem. And this game was in some bundles that was not free. Is there some problem with chance to gain this game for free. I dont understand when you have to pay some people complain and when its free they complaint too soo tell me how do you want games to be distributed to you
It's not equality in it you know, rules are there to be followed if you are a deadly human being or a "god" like you.
I don't think bundles are "free" most of the time, you can do mass GA for whatever game you like.. But it should be on the GA list, shouldn't be an expection for you.
Also you have a won game to activate on your acc & some marked as non recieved to deal with, might do that.

I believe that's the point of a featured giveaway, the developer personally contacts cg in order to make it so, and judging that this giveaway is up, it means that cg has probably evaluated all the contentions you've mentioned, and still found it acceptable to allow the giveaway, which means the developer has not broken SG rules, except the one regarding the won game on their own account which you can file a user report for.
The difference between giving away one copy of a free game and several copy of free games is that anybody can register to get a game for free in order to give it away, but it is impossible/really difficult to do so when you're planning to give away 100 or 500 of the same game. And it's the developer who's giving away copies of his game, so the question of a free game does not really arise. Plus in this case, the developer won't be farming many levels at all due to the way level scaling works, so it's not an issue.
actually (as a developer of a different game) i can say that i don't believe the site manually approves of each developer giveaway. they do manually approve of each developer to make sure they're a developer. but once they are, they can create whatever giveaways they want, without approving each individual giveaway.
as for this game -- i entered it and then read up about it after i won (seems everyone who entered this won, 16k entries, 30k keys). the game is a 50 cent flappy bird clone that is accused of stealing graphics assets from another game called badlands. almost all the reviews are negative. only 16 reviews are from legitimate purchasers, and hundreds of reviews are from people who got a free key. this just all makes me wonder what this developer is thinking, and how there are developers that get away with this kind of stuff. it makes developers who actually try hard to make good games look worse when there's developers like this guy around.
