It can't turn scam as you're trading nothing. Also, perhaps offline mode?
And I have played first some game from humble bundle with the drm free version, then copied the save files to steam, so lots of achievs were unlocked at the same time, with 1 minute of gaming... :p

His account was created on May 2nd 2012, yet he accomplished all the "Valve Gift Grab 2011" achievements, it's a sure thing that he used Steam Achievement Manager or something like that, although he could have gone through this steps (which I'm almost sure he didn't..)

You can very easily hack the achievements of any Steam game, which is what the OP has done. Take a look at the time he got the achievements, they're all the same, meaning he activated them all at the same time.
