Scientists studying positive psychology found that a one-time act of thoughtful gratitude produced an immediate 10% increase in happiness and 35% reduction in depressive symptoms. The happy effects disappeared within three to six months which shows that gratitude is an act to be repeated again and again.

Cool fact: Snow leopard (Irbis) is the only big cat that cannot roar, and it meows instead. They also use tails as blankets and a sort of additional limb, helping with balance and grip in rocky terrain. Sadly, they are now threatened thanks to asshole farmers shooting them despite only two reported attacks on humans in history, as well as monks poaching them to acquire furs to decorate rituals :<
