Hi Unnatural, I have question. Where do you get your games to giveaway? I'm planning to giveaway some games when the sale hits and was wondering what site you use to get your games? Since the steam trading policy has changed, it discouraged me to giveaway games which was my main method. But seeing your event giving away good games motivated me.

The only sites I think give mostly ROW keys are Humble, Indiegala, and Fanatical. I was about to use humble but I saw some threads here saying when they giveaway their Humble Monthlies, they got revoked for "trading".

Anyway hope you can answer, and thank you for your anime giveaway events

Hmm well for public events i try and obtain them more through hb as everything but nier was obtained but generally even interally in whitelist i giveaway on steam normally since i'm from australia and even the most expensive country eu still can accept the steam gift. I tested this a while back with an eu friend before with the games i intended to giveaway via steam store gift as insurance as if you can get to the payment stage it is fine.

If you are in a country under either play around with the region filter more i guess if you are not going to get it from online sites such as hb, gog, ig and such in which case i would recommend using steam db and test the currency around 15% to see what games can be given away via steam store.

Its safer to stick with hb "for public/forum" since steam store deals can expire before a friend invite can be sent and accepted due to not avaliable to store gifts. With the revoke issue is mainly people asking to return keys and such or it has passsed through the hands of traders and the original person refunds the page and so far even with my monthly games given away there has been no problem for me so far. Plus i did the event during a sale on top of the 10% monthly subscriber discount so its okay.

I just like to giveaway games im interested in and hope the winner plays/enjoys it really which is the only reason you will see some public giveaways but they are mainly used for scouting purposes but a lot more frequent and new releases go to my whitehearts during the year on the genres of anime/jrpg but just in the past public has never worked well with the play issue :3. So it'll be a while before another until i slowly whittle down the list again.

Thank you for the helpful reply. I will try out using the humble store and maybe I'll test out a giv with Steam Store.

Since i see your steam profile as US you should be able to gift without any problems since EU is generally 11% higher and they are the most expensive bracket.
