Three days in and I have already gotten quite a few hate comments online, and IRL, I wish I was a photographer because someone said something last night that broke my heart, and I would really like to photograph people and use the tag he claimed people to be. No one is worthless.
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that! There are always ignorant little farts running around, but this year it really does seem like they've shown their faces quite quickly (or maybe I've just forgotten how early in the month they showed up in the past). I hope you don't let it bring you down too much. That's their goal after all; these bigots are simply insignificant and pathetic turds who refuse to confront their own insecurities and issues and therefore have to lash out and bring everyone else down to be just as miserable as they are. But they can't erase the truth of the matter. They can't eradicate queerness no matter how much they try. Just keep your head up and keep going. Live your truth and take pride in knowing that you are a kind, accepting, and fabulous individual who makes the world a better place. π
