Tomb Raider (2013) and MGSV are the games I have played the most on Steam and enjoyed them a lot. Also Dust: AET was great, one of the best indies I've ever played
I just bought dust! Also I've never played a MGS game because I just don't know where to start.. I want to get into them though so I'll probably do that :)
Well, you should start with MGS1, even with it's dated graphics and gameplay is a masterpiece, but you got to be very open minded about that cause it's an old game.
Also RE4 is one of my favorite games of all times, but I didn't mentioned it as I played originally on GameCube (but I just finished the Steam version a couple weeks ago)
NP mate, it's important to start with MGS1 to follow the story, unless you don't care about it, then you can jump straight to MGSV but it'll probably be less enjoyable hehe. Feel free to add me later if you need some advice on that saga or whatever.

My favourite Steam games are Skyrim, Oblivion and ARK (which I recently started playing), but I also love Civ 5, Crusader Kings and Cities Skylines :)
